I fell asleep listening to the basketball game last night. It lulled me to sleep like a mother’s song. As soon as Brad turned it off though I slept horribly. The covers on these beds are SO thick and heavy that you have to crank the AC just to keep from sweating your ass off but it then makes me all stuffed up. I then woke up first around 6AM and struggled to go back to sleep until 8 or so. I finally decided to just get up and catch up on some e-mail and then head out. I walked around the area near our hotel and picked up a calling card finally and some more film for the trip. I found a little corner store and got some pastries and OJ and ate it on a bench by the Marble Arch. It was a little chilly but very nice.
While I was sitting and eating a van pulled up and and guy got out and opened up the back and brought out a Falcon. I guess this guy goes around to parks and public places with his falcon to chase off the pigeons and other birds. It was pretty awesome to see. The other birds immediately took of as soon as the falcon came out.
After Breakfast we had a photo shoot for Kerrang! magazine in a park. I think it was called Hampstead Heath. It was very easy and painless. the photographer was very easy to work with and we got through it pretty quickly.
After son lunch we had a quick video interview and then a phoner at the hotel before Andy had to head to load in for his Right Away, Great Captain! show. I was incredibly tired and not feeling to well so I stayed at the hotel to grab a nap and just met up with everyone at the show.
The venue was pretty awesome. It was in an upstairs room above a bar and only fit about 100 people. Andy played an amazing set consisting of the entire The Eventually Home album plus a few extras.
I am back at the hotel now listening to some music with Brad about to go to bed. We have meetings with the label all day tomorrow and then the show tomorrow night so it will be a long day. Hopefully I can get some decent sleep.
